David Ptacek is the Co-Founder and Branch Manager of Ta-Check Financial.  He graduated magna cum laude from Hillsdale College in Michigan (1994) with a B.A. in Finance and a minor in Mathematics.  David holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 51 and 63 registrations and is an Investment Advisor Representative with SII Investments.  Along with his challenging academic program, David played collegiate football for Hillsdale. 

David has been preparing tax returns and doing financial planning since 1994.  In 1997, he opened Ta-Check Financial with his brother, James Ptacek.  David specializes in developing financial plans for his clients to help them meet their current and future income needs.  Having a tax background and a passion for numbers allows David to provide his clients with a holistic approach to their personal finances.

David lives in Avon and enjoys golfing and sporting events, and was inducted into the North Olmsted Athletic Hall of Fame in 2008.  He and his wife Holly, are the proud parents of three children; Marissa, Ryan and Mackenzie.
